Vision & Mission

Educational Objectives

Health is the basic condition for happiness.
Health is the basic condition for human beings to pursue happiness. People have to be healthy to lead complete lives. The School of Health Policy and Management aims to train professionals who will play a leading role in promoting public health and developing local and national health care. Specifically, through a full range of specialized education, including health policy, health management, health statistics, health epidemiology, health information management, and the health industry, we transform students into experts equipped with problem-solving skills.

People who build a healthy society
Health policy and management is about finding ways for all people to be healthy. While doctors and nurses treat individual patients, health policy and management experts work to create a society where people do not get sick or a society where people receive immediate treatment when they are sick by studying health-related policies, systems, and industries. The School of Health Policy and Management fosters students’ competence in identifying the causes of problems in each area of society and making changes to build a healthier community.

The Future of the School of Health Policy and Management
Health policy and management is a field whose practitioners design and manage a society where all people can live healthily. Nationally, the School of Health Policy and Management aims to train students to become experts who are able to accurately diagnose the rapidly changing Korean society and propose ways for more people to be healthy and happy. Internationally, we try to produce professionals who are able to create a healthy community for all people, including those of Third World countries who need international aid and help. Without avoiding various challenges, such as global warming, environmental pollution, health inequalities, and workers’ health problems, the School of Health Policy and Management faculty, staff and students will work together to build a healthier society.
