Current State of Education
In order to promote health at the population level, the School of Health Policy and Management fosters students’ abilities to identify risk factors for disease and to design and manage systems that enhance public health. Professionals from various relevant agencies, including the deputy spokesperson for the Ministry of Health and Welfare, researchers of the National Health Insurance Corporation, and the director of the Korea Health Industry Development Institute, are invited as adjunct professors and part-time instructors. In addition, through special lectures by experts in related fields, students can also learn useful information.
In terms of practical training, students are able to participate in two-week internships at various health-related agencies. Our school provides opportunities to participate in community health promotion programs where students gain firsthand experience in carrying out community-based health promotion activities. In addition, the ability to use and develop advanced dental technology is also cultivated.
